Casting: Interview subjects for A Path Less Traveled Production
By Zero Dean Updates on May 18, 2019 05:04 pm
Casting a collaborative ongoing internet-based video podcast/documentary composed of video interviews of talent accompanied by still image portraits & supplemental video.
Seeking to highlight professional & aspiring artists of all kinds (performers, entertainers, musicians, image creators, models, and more), the stories they have to tell, and the causes they want to talk about.
We will be taking an honest look at artists’ successes, setbacks, failures, and struggles in life and the lessons they’ve learned as a result. We highly desire anyone who is currently on or who has experienced an unconventional path in life. This includes unconventional jobs, life circumstances, living arrangements, and more. But anyone with an interesting story to tell is welcome.
Your story, struggles, and what you’ve learned on your journey are of far more interest to us than how successful (or not) you consider yourself or what you look like.

The situation sucks
By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on May 18, 2019 01:38 pm
Yes, the situation you’re struggling with sucks. But answer this question:
Are you going to let it stop you?
If the answer is no, great! But then that raises another question:
If you’re not going to let your current circumstances stop you, what are you doing beating yourself up and making yourself feel miserable when you could be pushing forward and working on overcoming whatever it is you are struggling with?

Difficulty is not a standard
By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on May 18, 2019 01:06 pm
To you it may be the hardest thing you’ve ever done and someone else may do it and call it “Tuesday”.
Difficulty is not a standard and people’s lives should not be treated as if it were.

Sometimes opportunity will come knocking
By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on May 18, 2019 11:45 am
Sometimes opportunity will come knocking. But most of the time, it’s you that has to get off your butt, go door to door, and do the knocking yourself.
You create opportunities with your actions.

Growth and Discomfort : Getting outside of your comfort zone

Growth & Discomfort: Getting outside of your comfort zone
Dealing with discomfort, fear, and situations we don’t want be in — or situations that we are completely unfamiliar with — is an absolutely essential part of growth.
Who we are is a result of everything we’ve had to overcome in life and the attitude we chose to adopt during – or as a result of – challenges we’ve had to face.
You can choose to look at difficulties as disruptive and something to dread – or you can look at them as opportunities for growth and self-improvement. Because difficulties & discomfort are simply one side of a coin while opportunities for growth are the other.
You can’t have growth without some degree of discomfort.
We may not be able to choose or even like the challenges that life throws our way, but we can always choose our attitude towards them.

Whatever you focus on only grows stronger
By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on May 17, 2019 02:59 pm
Whatever you focus on only grows stronger.
If you truly desire a positive change in your life, then focus on what actions you’ll take to change things for the better — don’t dwell on what isn’t going well.

People who think of themselves as badasses
By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on May 17, 2019 01:03 pm
Sometimes people who think of themselves as badasses are doing, dealing with, or have survived only a fraction of things that others consider typical.

Perception and Rejection
By Zero Dean @ Zerosophy.com on May 17, 2019 07:15 am
One person may look at something and see one thing. Another may look at the same thing and see something else. It’s not the thing that’s different, it’s the perception of the person looking at it.
Your creativity, originality, genius and the value that you offer won’t always be recognized or appreciated for what it is. Just because some people fail to see the value in what you have to offer doesn’t mean you should stop offering it.
