BIKE EDUCATION

BJM School Bike Ed Program Takes Off

Starting in April, 2nd grade students at Beverly J. Martin Elementary School started receiving bicycle education in their PE classes. Thanks to a generous donation of kids' bikes from Cornell's Johnson School and hours of dedication by BJM staff, this program has been a hit with the kids and will serve as an example for other ICSD schools to follow.

Bike Ed for Adults & Mature Teens Coming This Summer

If you're not in the under-16 crowd, don't fret! Bike Walk Tompkins will have you covered with low-to-no-cost learn-to-ride and basic traffic safety classes for adults and mature teens starting in June. Keep your eyes out for a full calendar of events in the next BWT E-News, or check our Facebook page for updates as they come.
