'Father of fuzzing' says hackers shouldn’t get a free ride

An industry hero and pioneer in the cyber security and software testing fields visited UQ last week to deliver a special workshop, shining a light on the latest cyber security practices and tools. RCC and UQ Cyber Security hosted the visit.
American Professor Barton Miller (pictured) is widely known as the ‘father’ of fuzzing, a technique used by software security testers, and almost all penetration testers and security experts to discover security errors in software.
UQ's Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology conducted a Q&A with Prof. Miller. Read more

Research Data Management at UQ
UQRDM
Every Tuesday afternoon during UQ's Hacky Hour, the Library provides support for UQRDM users in an informal, casual setting.
If you want to know how to create project records, collaborate with other researchers or are interested in sharing data via UQRDM, pop in to see us at Cafe Nano on the St Lucia Campus every Tuesday, 3pm–4pm. (Note that Hacky Hour is cancelled if it's raining.)
