THANK YOU FOR PRAYERS
Last month Dr Lianzaw asked for prayers for safety during baptism services in the state of Rajasthan.  New believers were baptized in seperate locations in this state, full of Hindu fanatics determined to abolish Christianity. You prayed.  We went.  New Believers were baptized.  And our God protected us.  Without YOU there would be no success to our endeavors.  May God Bless YOU!
Rajasthan -
Rajasthan is a very large state in west India.  The western border of Rajasthan is the border between India & Pakistan.  The city of Sardarshar in this state is where Dr. Lianzaw and a group from his church in New Delhi were beaten for being Christians.  NBGMI's church planter, Kuldeep, and his wife, Neelam, were spreading the Gospel message before the attack.  They now serve in another part of the state.  The picture above on the left, is Kuldeep, Neelam and their son. Picture on the right is Nikku and his new wife, Sapna who currently serve in Sardarshar city.
Baptisms:
Below are pictures from Kuldeep & Neelam's new location about an hour and a half away from where they first served.  Before baptisms, Dr. Lianzaw and his helper, Loma who serves as NBGMI Mission Field Director as well as NBGMI church planter, counsel the three new believers and each signs a self-declaration before baptism.  These new believers know the cost of following Jesus.  Please PRAY for them.
Water is scarce in this dry desert-like area of the country, so a barrel is our baptistry.  We do not want to hide from the radicals, but we take precautions for the safety of all when we can.  So the baptism service is in a sheltered courtyard.
This couple came to watch our baptism program and shared their willingness to give their lives to Christ.  Kuldeep & Neelam will continue spending time with them.  Please PRAY for them!
Odisha -
Praise God for NBGMI new Church planters now serving with  Mission Field Director and NBGMI church planter, Lamboi Suantak, and NBGMI church planter,  Rajish Boliarsing.  There are many new believers as a result of these two men following God's call to go into these remote villages to bring the Gospel message to villagers who have never before heard the name of Jesus.  Below are pictures of Lamboi and his wife, Emily, on the left.  Rajish and his wife, Anjana, with their two children are on the right.
Our new Church Planter in Odisha is Daudo Majhi, a bachelor. He is a  relatively new believer but full of passion for sharing the Gospel to his people - the Kutiyas.  Lamboi trained him for 3 months and now he is preaching the Gospel from village to village.  He memorized Bible verses after verses and regularly held 4 days fasting prayers in a week.  Not a day goes by without him sharing the name of Jesus to someone. Such a faithful young believer is what we have always prayed for.

Lamboi & Rajish will continue to mentor and support Daudo.
Another new Church Planter in Odisha is Bikash Majhi, also a bachelor.  He is also a fairly new believer.   I baptized him and he has been trained by Loma & Rajish.  He is officially a part of the NBGMI Odisha Team.  He has been given charge of the Sakadi village church and will reach out to three nearby villages as well.

Sakadi village was featured in the August NBGMI newsletter.  This is where almost the entire village boldly decided throw out all their traditional idols to follow the one true God.  Even when they were threatened with anilation by surrounding villages, they stood firm in their new faith in Jesus Christ.

Lamboi & Rajish will continue to mentor and support  Bikash.
Meghasan & Madhu Nayak are also new believers from Tarlangi village where Lamboi & his wife, Emily, live.  Thang baptized them along with his mother last year.   He has also completed three months of missionary training courses with Lamboi.  Meghasan was recently inducted into our Church Planters team - along with Daudo and Bikash.   Meghasan & Madhu are currently working among the Kutiya people, under Lamboi's supervision.
Name of Jesus Taken to New Village
Lamboi , Emily, and our new church planters visit a small unreached village of 34 houses of the Kutia people group.  Villagers listened intently as  the NBGMI Team shared the Gospel message.  A few of the boys and girls were interested but the adults as a whole resisted the Gospel message.  They are not interested in changing their religion to Christianity.  Please join us as we pray the Holy Spirit will open their spiritual eyes to see Jesus Christ one Day.  Below are pictures of the visit to this village.
