Fellowship Background Information:
The Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago has generously agreed to sponsor a summer fellow to join our research team this June and complete a 12-week practicum in public policy research and analysis. For these young policy reformers, experiences like these can be transformative, providing a unique bridge between their coursework and the real-world urgency of RFI’s efforts to strengthen our democracy.
But the work can’t stop in August. It’s too important. This fellowship will provide crucial support to helping our team design and implement a community-driven election reform plan to boost voter engagement in Illinois and make our system more representative, equitable, and accountable to the people it serves. We need the resources to ensure that this important work continues for the rest of the year.
