The power of running in nature

We are excited to be assisting in some ground breaking research as part of a research study into the benefits of exercising in nature – but we need some study volunteers.
Dr Tim Chambers from Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP) and his "green exercise" study is hoping to address the knowledge gap of exercise in nature and its associated benefits.

Individuals who enter in the GOLD category of the Rapid Ascent Trail Running Series are invited to take part in the study.

Research participants will be asked to complete 7 brief online surveys (one before the series, one after each event, and one 6 months post-series—cakewalk!).

Survey questions will focus on mental health, well-being, and runners’ experiences of completing the events.

Click Here for further information and please contact us if you are interested in volunteering: info@rapidascent.com.au.
