Wishing you well today,

When you are building your business, you've got to have tools, resources and support. One of the greatest lessons I've learned through being involved with startups is that it's much more fun to know you aren't alone, and even better to get to meet team-members with different talents who can help you achieve your goals. Our sponsor, Steadfast Media Company, is that team for you. if you are looking for custom software solutions, off-the-shelf technology deployed in support of a new business initiative, or you'd like to improve your business with the data you collect, Steadfast Media is your venture partner. Clicking the banner above will take you to their website where you can learn more.

Meet your five minute mentor, Beth Downey.
I don't enjoy pumping gas. I wish that could be automated.

That's it's far more important to listen than to speak.

To make my bed first thing every morning. It sounds so simple, but it really makes a huge difference in how I frame my day. It's an accomplishment to start the day which builds momentum to tackle the next task.

The word "entrepreneur" is so overused it's lost it's meaning. I prefer "small business owner."

I am adamant about doing what I say I'm going to do and I believe in leaving things better than I found them.

Beth Downey is the owner of Permelia Media, a small business that specializes in graphic design and web development.
