Bike Advocates to be Recognized May 17

Join Simsbury bike advocates at 5PM on May 17 to celebrate Bike Month and Bike to Work Week.  We will be at Iron Horse Pizzeria and Sports Pub on Iron Horse Blvd. in Simsbury.  WFSB Channel 3 will be there doing a live remote as part of their 20 Towns in 20 Days segment recognizing Simsbury’s bike advocacy initiatives. They will be conducting the interview and presenting a check at 5:30. Join us! The more cyclists the better! Happy Bike to Work Week!

Su., 5/19 – The Us Two (2) Ride, Unionville, 10 AM – noon. 
*Tu., 5/21 - StoryTown: Bring your Bike (All Ages, Drop In). Kids storytime sponsored by Simsbury Public Library and Bike-Ped Committee.  Meet at Rotary Park and bring your bike/tricycle.  10:30-11AM.
*Fri., 5/31 - Connecticut Annual Greenways Awards & Celebration, CT Greenways Council, Stratton Brook State Park, Simsbury, 10 AM – 12:30 PM. 
Sat., 6/1 – FVTC National Trails Day Rides, Farmington Valley Trails Council, Simsbury, 8:30AM.
