UPDATES & ANNOUNCEMENTS:
• Attention Juniors! Parking applications are due June 1st. Applications will not be accepted after June 1st. Any questions, stop by the Main Office.
• Attention Seniors: All seniors are required to complete a brief graduation survey in order to "check out" before graduation. This should be completed by June 3, 2019.
• Log into your Naviance account & complete it. This must be done in order to know which institution will receive your final transcript.
• Attention Seniors: The Cory Aufiero scholarship is being offered to the Colts Neck High School Class of 2019. This scholarship was added after Applitrack closed on April 12.
• Please check your naviance account for detailed information about the criteria and video submissions. Videos must be submitted by May 23, 2019.
• Spikeball is coming! NHS will be hosting a spike ball tournament after school on May 22nd. You may register as an individual or a two person team. Registration will take place outside of the school cafeteria during lunch this week.
Cougar Athletic Update:
We are officially reaching the end of the spring season for athletics. Both Lacrosse programs, Boys Tennis, and Softball have all concluded their seasons. We are proud to say that we have won multiple division championships this spring as well as teams still competing in postseason play! Please enjoy the following positive news from the office of the SECA:
- Congratulations to our 2019 Shore Conference Sportsmanship Award Winners as nominated and voted on by the CNHS Head Coaches: Eva Gibson and Alex Hou! Eva and Alex were honored this past Sunday at the RWJ Barnabas Arena in Toms River by the Shore Conference and will also be honored at the CNHS Hall of Fame/Senior Athlete Banquet on June 4th at Eagle Oaks.
- Congratulations to our 2019 NJSIAA Scholar Athlete James Powell! Jimmy was honored this past Sunday at Pines Manor in Edison by the NJSIAA and will also be honored at the CNHS Hall of Fame/Senior Athlete Banquet on June 4th at Eagle Oaks.
- Congratulations to Coach Parks and the Boys Golf Team on their season:
- Final record of 17-2
- Shore Conference B North Division Co-Champs with Wall
- Shore Conference and State Qualifier as well as two Shore Conference Individual Qualifiers (Jack and Luke Pastor)
- Congratulations to Coach Collier and the Boys Tennis team on their season:
- Final record of 14-4
- Shore Conference B-North Division Co-Champs with Ocean
- Sectional semifinalist in Central Jersey Group 3 playoff bracket
- Congratulations to Coach Latteri and the Girls Lacrosse team on their season:
- Shore Conference A-North Division Co-Champs with Howell
- Back-to-Back A-North Champions (2018 and 2019) for the first time in program history
- Congratulations to senior Sarah Shaughnessy on eclipsing the 200-point mark for her career!
- Congratulations to TJ Briscoe, Ryan Marut, and Tim Wu on being named 1st Team All-Division in the A North for Boys Volleyball!
- Congratulations to the Girls Golf team on winning the FRHSD District Match and for Eliana Joskowski on winning 1st Place Individual as well!
