Open Houses, State Farm Donation and Financial Literacy Month!
L to R: Steven Breinlinger, State Farm Insurance agent, Pamela Rich-Wheeler, Executive Director of The Business Center and the Muhammad Family
Recently The Business Center hosted two Open Houses for the Youth & Money Summer Enrichment Entrepreneurship Program at Lovett Library. Over 20 parents and children attended to learn about the exciting curriculums for the summer. Peer Counselors Tunde Sogo and Christopher Moore were the facilitators for the event.  The open houses took place during Financial Literacy Month, where youth received an education from State Farm and The Business Center on managing money, entrepreneurship and the upcoming summer enrichment program sessions.   Financial aid is available.  At the event Steven Breinlinger, State Farm insurance agent from Chestnut Hill State Farm, gave generous donation of $15,000  which will support Programming and financial aid for TBC’s Youth entrepeneurship programming and a seminar about financial literacy.  Other supporters include Santander, Rotary Club Chestnut Hill, The Office of Cindy Bass, PNC Bank, PECO, Customers Bank, The Office of Cherelle Parker, Dolfinger- McMahon Foundation, Support Community Opportunity Program and Carson Valley Children’s Aid.
