Dear Friends and Ministry Partners,

As the weather heats up in Haiti, the political climate remains on a rollercoaster, with new protests announced for Saturday against high inflation. Things were very tense in February, but life has been pretty normal for us since then, except for very few visiting teams to bolster ongoing ministries.
We lost a couple of weeks of classes at the Bible School because of the insecurity, but I was able to finish teaching the Gospel of John, Intro to Hebrew, a youth ministry seminar and now I'm doing the Book of Acts until the end of June.

Normal life, except for Heather's foot! She's four weeks into the long healing process of her 5th metatarsal which fractured while playing basketball. This was just days before she directed the Good Friday children's musical, Amazing Grace.

Heather and her team gave a great performance!

Grace is what sets the Christian message apart from all other beliefs. Romans 5:8 states, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus bore on the cross our sin, shame, guilt and weakness caused by our unbelief and disobedience. This grace saves us when we trust Jesus to do the saving!

Last month we shared about our summer trip to Germany to minister to over 60 missionary kids at the World Team Europe conference. Heather and I, Erik, Joey and Ellie will be part of the team for this six-day conference. It's an expensive trip, but we have a deep conviction that God considers these MKs worth the money and effort. Praise God that 60% of our support need has already been met.
