Bold As A Lion
by Peter Wade
|
|
"...the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1 KJV). This particular verse holds a real blessing when we understand its truth. I want to share some of its greatness with you.
What about us as believers?
We need more lion-like believers with boldness in evidence. The boldness of a lion is here compared with a believer. To understand this comparison, we need first of all to know what it means to be righteous.
What is there about a lion that we should see in our lives as righteous people?
Bold Christianity is described in Ephesians 3:12, “In whom we have boldness.” In Christ we have boldness. Well then, have you got it or haven’t you?

A New Release!
An exciting new book by
Peter Wade...
Impact : Pentecost and the Early Church -- It's the exciting story of Pentecost as you've never witnessed it before! The events of the early church as you've never experienced them!
The Apostles were suddenly “thrown in at the deep end,” having witnessed the death of their leader, his resurrection, and then on the day of his ascension, his command to stay in the city until they received “power from on high.” They knew that something would happen, but had no details or accurate grasp of the IMPACT that this promised event would have on them – or on humanity!

Three Unique Blogs
I love junk food — McDonald’s french fries, Auntie Anne’s pretzels, and almost any kind of pizza! If I’m not careful, though, I will gain unwanted pounds while getting zero nutrition. Many Christians seem to eat spiritually the way I am tempted to eat physically.
Cats and Dogs
By Bob Sjogren & Gerald Robi
A dog says: “You pet me, you feed me, you shelter me, you love me, You must be God.” A cat says: “You pet me, you feed me, you shelter me, you love me, I must be God.” It’s very hard to differentiate between a Dog and a Cat in church. They both look and act “Christian” but there is a huge difference in their heart attitude.
Imitators or Participators? By Peter Wade
“We have become partakers of Christ” (Hebrews 3:14).
One cannot make a study of the New Testament without experiencing something of the nature of a shock, in view of the glaring difference between the Christian life as we customarily live it and the ideal set forth by the Master.
