Wow! We turn 2 years old on July 3rd. I am incredibly moved by how this community has formed over this past year. We're really shaping up to be something I had never expected and the past month, in particular, has been moving at lightning speed for SPAAC. Come celebrate with us on Wednesday, July 3rd at the beach at Golden Gardens Park!

SPAAC NEWS + BEYOND
- 12 of us went to LA for the PAAC Conference. It was so so so life-giving. The live-streamed version of the conference is up on the PAAC FB page and the PAAC team (Roy Sher in particular) is working on putting up high-quality audio from this to put up on PAAC's website.
- Right after LA, one thing led to another, and now SPAAC is hosting PAAC Conference for 2020! Originally, PAAC Con is scheduled to be every other year, but Liz took notice of Thomas Yang putting together a regional PNW PAAC Conference and asked us if SPAAC wanted to host a PAAC Con. (And we said yes.)
- 2020 PAAC Con, along with PAAC Fam Retreat, will be hosted by SPAAC!
- PAAC Fam Retreat will be from Tuesday, June 30th - Thursday, July 2nd.
- PAAC Con will be from Thursday, July 2nd - Sunday, July 5th.

- SPAAC launched a podcast called SPAAC SNACC. Check out our first episode! If you'd like to support us financially, check out our Patreon page!
- We are introducing a new rhythm into SPAAC to focus on the "C" of PAAC. SPAAC Church starts August 11th. Stay turned on FB and come to our 2nd Anniversary for more details.
- Pauline and I are leading the online PAAC Book Club for this round. We will be reading "Radical Love: An Introduction to Queer Theology" by Patrick S. Cheng. If you'd like to join, check out the FB group.
- PAAC Fellowship for 2019-2020 is open for applications! PAAC Fellowship is an intentional online learning community.

- SPAAC Retreat 2019 in Cloverdale, Oregon was lovely. 8 people attended!
- Our 6/16 discussion focused on learning about the Hong Kong extradition bill and creating posters in solidarity for the opposition of the bill. SPAAC member Christina co-wrote a statement that was released through Diverging Magazine.
