Fearrington Farmers' Market
Tuesdays, 4 - 6 pm
April through November

Summer already?

Temperatures are climbing, and the unofficial start of summer -- Memorial Day weekend -- is coming up, so expect to see more summery veggies appearing at market in the coming weeks.  It's time to clean off the grill and get cooking!  (Pro tip: if your grill has spent the entire winter in an abandoned corner of your yard, watch out for wasps when you open the lid.)

You'll find lots of great stuff for the grill this week, including summer squash, spring onions, asparagus, peaches (YES, grilled peaches!), and of course plenty of meats from our dedicated vendors.  See you Tuesday!

Kristen

We continue to harvest our Snapdragons, Bachelor Buttons, Saponaria and Agrostemma; however this will be your last opportunity to pick up a bunch of fragrant Stock or stems of Dutch Irises.  There will be mixed bouquets for your table.  Our “baby” hens are laying so there will be a good supply of “pullet” and "tiny" eggs this week.
