STUDENTS:
We often have students within the centre.
They range from Work Experience (Secondary school)  to TAFE  to University students.

We believe in :

·    Promoting the quality care and education of children with students so to ensure that quality standards with the early childhood field are contiued. We believe that mentoring and supporting students is an important part of the Early Childhood field.

WARM COATS, HATS DRINK BOTTLES AND STURDY SHOES or GUMBOOTS FOR OUTSIDE:
The cooler weather has arrived. On cold days a NAMED jacket and beanie/hat is needed. Outdoor play is an important part of the program for children’s health, wellbeing and development.
Although the hot weather has left, your child still needs a named drink bottle so they can access water when they need it. This is part of the National Quality Framework, Nutrition Policy and our Active Play Policy
ILLNESS:
We have had a lot of colds this week. We are happy to wipe the noses and give water for the coughs however if your child becomes listless, has a high temp, not eating and very distressed we will ring you to come and pick them up, as they will best recover at home, also we do not have the facilities or staffing for caring for unwell children.
Also remember that if your child has had a high temperature, vomiting or diarrhoea your child must stay away from the centre for 24 hours, i.e. the next day.
