The Royal Cornwall Show, one of the biggest if not THE biggest B2C event in Cornwall, is just around the corner. We've been very busy in getting all of the branded merchandise items ready for our clients.
Last year, our fortune cookies branded for the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth and Skills Hub received the royal approval from no other than HRH The Prince of Wales. We can't guarantee that this is going to happen again but you never know!

A Walk Down Memory Lane:
The Fortunes of Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Hub

We were contacted in mid April 2018 by the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth Hub about the possibility of supplying personalised fortune cookies in time for the Royal Cornwall Show with a ‘no fail’ delivery date of 5th June.
We met with Cerys Hartt of Growth Hub and agreed the rate for the job and finalised the details with the 6 different personalised messages. CIOS Growth Hub supplied us with their artwork and their preferred personalisation and we produced some detailed pre-order visuals so the client could see exactly how their fortune cookies would look.
It was at this point that the supplier advised that the factory’s standard lead time of 4 weeks from sign off of artwork to delivery may not be achievable due to demand. Cue many phone calls and emails later and we engaged a supplier who could not only meet our brief within the client budget but could also deliver inside the no fail date.
So all in all it delivered to budget and on time. Result!

The icing on the cookie so to speak, was that one of the Growth Hub’s fortune cookies was offered to and accepted by, none other than HRH Prince Charles - although no one is reporting what exactly his fortune cookie said! Whilst it’s not every day our merchandise is sampled by royalty it was a wonderful process to be involved with.
