Help Us PAVE the Way for ALL Children in DC!
What's Inside:

At PAVE, we know that ALL parents, regardless of Ward, community, socioeconomic status, native language, or educational background, are powerful advocates for their children and ALL children when given the space, access, and tools to do so.

To ensure that PAVE is available and accessible to every parent in the District, PAVE has never - and will never - charge for participation in our programs. We provide food, childcare, and translation services as necessary at all of our meetings to include as many families as possible.

To sustain this work and to make PAVE truly accessible to all of our communities, we rely on our supporters, including donations made through programs like Do More 24, to help us to take away barriers to access: providing breakfast/lunch/dinner, reserving babysitters, and translating materials.

What is Do More 24?

Do More 24 brings together nonprofit organizations, partners, and donors committed to creating an impact in our community.

This Wednesday at 12:00 pm, Do More 24 will launch the DMV's largest 24-hour online fundraiser. Powered by United Way of the National Capital Area, donors can contribute to any of the more than 800 participating nonprofits to fund programs and services right here in our own community.

Last year, Do More 24 raised more than $1.6 million, which allowed nonprofit organizations to fill holes in their budget, buy desperately needed new equipment, and serve more people in need across our region.

How You Can Help
1. Make a donation to PAVE's Do More 24 page!

This year, funds raised through Do More 24 will go toward supporting the third-annual PAVE Parent Policy Summit. As you all know, the Summit will provide an opportunity for families from across the city a chance to come together and share about the very issues that they have identified as most critical to their children’s education. By the end of the event, together we will create a parent-driven policy agenda for PAVE as we work to build an education system that is created not just for, but by and with families.

It is absolutely essential that we make the Summit as accessible as possible for as many families as possible. Do More 24 contributions will ensure that PAVE’s Third-Annual Parent Policy Summit has the components of a truly inclusive event that we are now known for across the city - with great food, childcare, and translation and where parents of a diversity of backgrounds are reimagining the school system for their kids!

Please consider contributing what you can, every dollar truly counts.
