Congratulations Green Schools and Green Teachers!
We had a great year with 1,438 credits logged by 317 teachers! 17 of our 25 participating schools made Green School Status (25 credits and 5 teachers) and 107 teachers made Green Teacher (five lessons)! We look forward to honoring you with gifts and certificates at our Green School Kick Off Event at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia on August 29th from 4 to 6 PM.

Registration is now open for the seventh Georgia Farm to School and Early Care and Education Summit will to be held June 7-8 at Helms College in Macon. The Summit features dynamic, hands-on education sessions, workshops, and field trips highlighting gardening, cooking with kids, local procurement, curriculum integration, and more! The 15th annual Teacher Conservation Workshop is scheduled for the week of June 17-21. This interdisciplinary workshop focuses on the environmental, economical, and social benefits of Georgia’s forestry and wildlife communities and includes Project WET, WILD and Learning Tree certification.
