More detailed health spend data now available

Health Purchasing Victoria has responded to health service feedback by updating spend data to now provide a greater level of detail to assist with procurement planning. Read more.

Reminder: Health service self-assessment due this month

Health service self-assessments are due via Health Purchasing Victoria’s CPO compliance portal by Thursday 30 May 2019.

The self-assessment submitted by 30 May reflects health services’ compliance status from 1 July until that point in time. Eligible health services are expected to monitor their purchasing spend during the period 30 May to 30 June and inform HPV if their compliance status changes.

HPV has made several process and system improvements to support CPOs in facilitating their health service’s annual self-assessment of compliance to the Health Purchasing Policies and HPV collective agreements, and these are outlined in the instructions on the portal.

Victoria's Social Procurement Framework implementation well underway

Implementation of the Victorian Government’s Social Procurement Framework (SPF) is progressing well with the next phase of operational workshops to help health services embed their strategy or commitment scheduled to begin in July. Read more.
