Join SFTech4Good and Startups Give Back at General Assembly when we continue our discussion on what it takes to start and grow a career in social impact.
The discussion will be with social impact professionals from three of the most recognizable companies on the planet.

Building Resilient Communities in the age of climate uncertainty
In this new climate, humans are going to build and rebuild many structures and whole communities not only due to floods, sea level rise and catastrophic climate-change-driven fires, but also due to population migrations. In the Camp Fire alone, Northern California lost 18,000 buildings.
Each time we build we have the opportunity to be either beneficial to the environment and society or exacerbate the risks and stressors of climate change.
So how can we build in ways that are regenerative, systemic, socially just while cultivating community resilience?

SAP.iO Foundry San Francisco
The SAP.iO Foundry offers a no-equity ask program that provides access to SAP APIs, SAP technologies, and opportunities to meet SAP’s customers. The upcoming SAP.iO San Francisco cohort will be focused on Experience Management in close collaboration with SAP Business Units, including SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud, and SAP Consumer Data Cloud. They are looking for B2B SaaS startups to join us for our 2019 Summer cohort, beginning mid-August.
Selected teams will be part of an In Residence program for 13 weeks in San Francisco (South Park) at the SAP.iO office. During the cohort, teams will be immersed in a highly curated program working along-side world-class executives and mentors (SAP Executives and external mentors) with a focus on the unique challenges of B2B companies including Enterprise Sales, Marketing, Funding, Technology Scaling, Pricing, and Product Management Essentials. SMASH Rising Project Manager (San Francisco)
Reporting to the Alumni Programs + Partnerships Director (APPD), the Project Manager (PM) will be onsite throughout the duration of the program and will liaise between the partner organization and the working pod of SMASH Rising scholars. The PM will play an integral role in delivering and sustaining the SMASH Rising experience by supporting the design thinking + prototyping process to ensure project goals are met.
The PM will be placed and assigned to a SMASH Rising partner with a designated pod/team of 4-5 SMASH Rising scholars and liaise between SMASH, the partner and pod of SMASH Rising scholars.
This is approximately a 3-month assignment (June to August),withafull time engagement period through the duration of SMASH Rising (approximately 7 weeks). Although the majority of the position will function as described below, some aspects are subject to change due to evolving programmatic needs.
