Bloor Annex BIA's Street Revitalization Project - a Late Jane's Walk - May 18
The Bloor Annex BIA's Street Revitalization Project will see the transformation of four underused rights-of way into eco-friendly parkettes with unique elements, including benches made from reclaimed wood of Honest Ed's store, Public Art seating made from huge quarried rocks, and pollinator gardens, among other features.

The project kicks off with a late Jane's Walk-style event called "From Underused Spaces to Urban Oases: the Bloor Annex Street Revitalization Project". More than a walk, it will be an experience of re-discovering a special community! There will be refreshments and live jazz music to close things off. See poster below for more details.

Street Parking Survey - deadline May 24
The Toronto and East York Community Council (TEYCC) is considering potential expansion of residential on-street permit parking City wide. TEYCC will be meeting in June to consider a written report submitted in April (you can read the report here) as well as input from residents.

Ward 11 Councillor Mike Layton is looking for feedback so he can understand and communicate the perspectives of residents who may be affected by any changes.  His office has requested that people fill out a parking survey by May 24.  You can find the survey here.

In addition, Councillor Layton will be consulting with residents at City Hall in Room B, on May 28, from 6 to 8 pm.  RSVP if you'd like to attend Councillor_layton@toronto.ca.
