NEW WORKS & VIDEO ONLINE!

During Yatika Starr Fields' artist residency at Crow's Shadow in April he worked on a series of painterly monoprints, as well as litho prints in the queue to be editioned. You can browse his new monoprints, the Sun Carrier Series, online now. If you missed the artist talk and studio visit, we have a great video of Yatika discussing his time at Crow's Shadow. We all had a wonderful time getting to work with Yatika and seeing his energy translated into a new medium. He also has a very active Instagram page and a great website where you can find out more about his paintings.

OPENING RECEPTION:  FRIDAY MAY 24, 57 PM

Student artists receive 100% of their sales!

Crow’s Shadow is pleased to present Nixya’awii Community School Printmaking Exhibition for the fifth consecutive year. This exhibition showcases the prints produced by a group of high school students from NCS. This year’s printmaking students are: Ermia Butler, Isabelle LeCornu, Elle Marsh, Cloe McMichael, Kylie Mountainchief, Latis Nowland, Eva Oatman, and Tyanna Van Pelt. Over the past school year they have been learning printmaking in the Crow’s Shadow studio under the direction of CSIA Master Printer, Judith Baumann.

The exhibition can be viewed during our regular hours, 9:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday, until the show closes. The Crow’s Shadow gallery is free to visit and open to the public; previously finished student works can also be seen at Crow’s Shadow throughout the year. This project is funded in part by the Oregon Arts Commission’s Art Builds Communities Fund and direct contributions to Crow’s Shadow either by donation or through print purchases.
