Events to celebrate Pentecost:
Catholic Charismatic Renewal The Gift of the Holy Spirit Event 3-9pm Saturday 8 June. DETAILS
This year's One Pentecost Celebration will be quite different. The theme is "WORD OF MOUTH" an ode to how the early disciples spread the Good News. You will not receive an invite on social media. You won't see any posts. This is the most you'll read about it. You'll need to HEAR the rest of the details given to you via word of mouth. So ASK around!  Otherwise, CALL Josh at 0452 390 010 or George at 0478 662 556. Once you find out, help spread the word.
Catholic Mission Song Competition
Pope Francis has called this year's Mission Month (October) and Extraordinary. Songwriters of all ages are asked to give expression to our mission to make a difference in this world – by celebrating our baptismal call which centres our faith on the needs of the poor and oppressed. School students, youth groups, parish musicians and music students are invited to compose a song and submit it. For all criteria and details, see the flyer HERE

Christ is Alive!
Pope Francis has released his latest exhortation, titled “Christ is Alive” You can download and read it for free via the Vatican website HERE

If you are a little time poor, to help you navigate the document, we have some chapter summaries that we will make available in each edition of the Youth Leader Update this year. Kicking off with Chapter One HERE and Chapter Two HERE
