A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER, HACKIE REITMAN, M.D.:

I wanted to give a quick thank you to Nova Southeastern University's (NSU) CAHSS Graduate Student Government Association (SGA) and the Doctoral Family Therapy Club for putting on their first annual Mental Health Research Symposium!

I had the pleasure of appearing on one of the panels along with some brilliant neurodiversity leaders from South Florida: Judge Ginger Lerner-Wren (who you will remember from her episode of Exploring Different Brains), Stephen N. Campbell, Ph.D., Sandra Cumper, M.S. of NAMI Broward County, Pei-Fen Li, Ph.D., LMFT, Shari N. Warner, JD, LMFT, Jessica F.B. Jefferson, LCSW-QS, and Eric Mundt, M.S., LMFT. And a special thanks to our host, friend of Different Brains Debbie Origho Manigat, M.S.!

Events like this that can do so much for ending the stigma related to mental health challenges, so kudos to NSU and all involved supporting neurodiversity!
