With the 2018/2019 financial year drawing to a close, it's time for many of us to consider the impact this will have on our businesses, along with those businesses we work closely with.  Whether it's planning new projects and partnerships or keeping up to date with the latest legislative changes, it's important that you start the new financial year on the front foot.

One of the changes that will come into effect as of 1 July 2019, is the ATO's Single Touch Payroll (STP) tax and superannuation reporting obligations which now apply to businesses who employ up to 20 people.  If you haven't already had an opportunity to find out what this means for you, then join us for an ATO run information session on STP on Thursday 20 June.

And while on the topic of opportunities, the City of Boroondara has developed a new networking event to provide you with the motivation to take on new projects, in a room with groups looking to work with you to achieve shared goals.  'The Boroondara Equation' is being held at the Kew Golf Club on 26 June will feature inspirational speakers including Simon Griffiths of Who Gives A Crap

Lastly, though still on the same theme, Business Boroondara will be hosting an end of financial year celebration on June 27.  There'll be entertainment and activities on offer, so mark your diary and we'll look forward to seeing you there!

Further details on how to book in for these and other events can be found below.
