Author Karen Dionne to Visit Finlandia University

On Wednesday, May 29 at 12 p.m. author Karen Dionne will be at the Finlandia University campus bookstore, North Wind Books, for a book signing event for her novel The Marsh King’s Daughter.

The Marsh King’s Daughter centers around Helena Pelletier, a wife and mother born in the Upper Peninsula, struggling to deal with her past in captivity and her father’s crimes.

Copies are available for purchase in store and on the North Wind Books website prior to the event and during event. Make sure to grab your copy.

Patton Set To Play Hockey At Finlandia

Lucas Patton MIH 1920 Lucas Patton (Sechelt, British Columbia, Canada) has committed to play for the Finlandia University men's hockey team. He is the first of several members of the 2019-20 recruiting class.

Gonzalez Set To Play At Finlandia University

Chelan Gonzalez MSOC 19 Chelan Gonzalez (Tecumseh, Mich.) has committed to play for the Finlandia University men's soccer team. He is planning on majoring in Business.

Brown and Krug Earn WIAC Honors

Joey Krug WIAC Sophomore Lane Brown and senior Joey Krug have earned honors from the WIAC (Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference). Baseball members are Finlandia, UW-La Crosse, UW-Oshkosh, UW-Platteville, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Stout and UW-Whitewater.

Hendrickson Set To Play At Finlandia

Riley Hendrickson MBB 1920 Riley Hendrickson (Crystal Falls, Mich.) has committed to play for the Finlandia University men's basketball team. Hendrickson is planning on majoring in Sports Management and PTA.
