Regional Ecologist

The Regional Ecologist will be responsible for providing  technical support to the Healthy Environments Program to ensure effective program delivery, development of projects and project activity reporting. The role will be focused on improving capacity and capability within the region for land managers, community and stakeholders to undertake projects aimed at exploring new opportunities for improving the status of 20/20 priority listed threatened species and protecting coastal corridors and improving the condition of threatened ecological communities in the south coast region of Western Australia.

The Corporate Support role would suit you if you are self-motivated and have good communication skills, a strong attention to detail and a results driven approach to your work. You will be able to work autonomously within a small team, can manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines whilst supporting the senior management team and Board using a supportive and cooperative focus.

We encourage applicants with a variety of relevant backgrounds, skills and experience for this multifaceted and interesting role. The position will commence ASAP and be in place until June 2023.

It is offered at a 0.6FTE but may be increased at times dependent on funding and needs.
