June 11 - DPS is hosting a free City Biking 101 workshop for Staff Development Day. Learn how to ride safely, bike operation tips, rules of the road, theft prevention, community tips, taking your bike on RIPTA, and basic mechanics. Smith-Buonanno Hall, Rm. 101 - 1:30pm - 2:30pm. Register here.
June 26 - You are encouraged to attend our Stop the Bleed, Save a Life safety session. Uncontrolled bleeding is a major cause of preventable deaths. Approximately 40% of trauma-related deaths worldwide are due to bleeding or its consequences. This 1-hour course is focused on raising awareness of how, with the proper training and materials, death from bleeding can be prevented. Simple measures can save many lives.

8/6 - SAVE THE DATE! Brown will host our second annual National Night Out with the goal of making our communities safer, more caring places to live.
