Summer Programs and Challenge!

School is almost out, which means the Sausalito Library's Summer Programs and the Challenge are about to begin!

Kids can sign up for the Challenge starting Wednesday, May 29 (tomorrow!) and complete the reading and activities between now and August 31. There is a separate Challenge for kids under 12 and kids 12-14 years old.

We have a jam-packed program schedule. Like the last few years, different days of the week are dedicated to different types of programs and age groups:
  • Monday programs are for Middle Schoolers
  • Tuesdays are performances and presentations
  • Wednesdays are drop-in programs for all ages
  • Thursdays are for 9-11 year olds
I'll be in the Willow Creek classrooms on Wednesday and Friday to talk about the program and hand out fliers. The fliers will also be in the Willow Creek Friday packet and, of course, available in the Library. We also have a comprehensive web page with the information.

This year's fantastic image is from Ross K. Smith in San Ansellmo.

I know there is a lot to keep track of (can you imagine how I feel?). If you have questions or suggestions, you can always contact me: ewilson@sausalito.gov.

I'm looking forward to the summer and hope to see everyone soon!

Best,
Erin
