Hi foodie friends and home cooks! It's definitely feeling like summer but we still have spring crops (think greens 'n roots) growing like crazy out in the field. See below for a list of what we're bringing to markets - new this week are cabbages as well as cucumbers! These first cukes of the season come from our high tunnel, and they are certainly looking happy with the added warmth and protection from the rain, and are fruiting earlier than our field cukes - see pics below (thanks to Farmer Olivia for the great closeup photo)!
Please scroll down to read about Farmer Grace, who we are super excited to have on the Dicot Farm team this year!
Hope to see you at market tomorrow or Sunday.

hank you for supporting your local farmers!

Farmer Intro!
We're thrilled to have Grace on the Dicot Farm team this year! While new to farming, she is passionate about learning and doing as much as she can on the farm. We are inspired by Grace's drive to have a career in the food justice movement, and working at Dicot Farm is a critical step in that journey to understanding more about how our very complex food system operates. While Grace generally likes most of the work we do here, her least favorite thing about farming is the early mornings :-)

At the moment her favorite veggie is peas, but noted we shouldn't hold her to that because it could change depending on the day and mood. Her least favorite veggies is chard, although she has been trying it more often (possibly because we are growing a LOT of it here!). In her non-farming time Grace enjoys photography - check out her photos on Instagram @
