Lydia Fellows Program

The Massachusetts Council of Churches has announced the hiring of Rev. Carrington George Moore as Director of the Lydia Fellows Program. Rev. Carrington earned a Master of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology and also serves as the Associate Pastor of Children, Youth, & Families at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

The program will support part-time (or bi-vocational) clergy in New England by increasing connectivity with other pastors, strengthening confidence and self-esteem, and providing opportunities for professional growth through financially compensated fellowships. You can send him an email of welcome, or of interest in supporting or participating in the Lydia Fellows, at Carrington@masscouncilofchurches.org.

Cindy's Travelogue

As Cindy Kohlmann travels the country as part of her role as Co-Moderator of the General Assembly, a new series on our blog will follow her, featuring highlights of her journeys in her own words: sights seen, people met, and lessons learned. The first post highlights Cindy's travel to Zephyr Point Presbyterian Camp and Conference Center on the shores of Lake Tahoe for the World Mission Consultation during the second weekend of May. Check the blog regularly for future updates, as well as some highlights from her travels earlier in the year. If nothing else, keep coming back for the great pictures.
