2019 Nelson National Triptych Salon
Entries Close 31stAugust

This is a competition that will stretch your imagination and teach you to think beyond the single image. Your triptych can be horizontal, vertical, round, triangular or any other shape you like provided it fits the rules of the competition. The key rule for this event though is that there must be a clear division between each image and there must not be a fourth image in the background.

Give it a go!

Have fun and let’s see your results in August

The awards for this year will be for the best Open, Monochrome, Humour & Abstract entries.

Please visit http://www.nelsoncameraclub.co.nz/national-triptych-salon-2/ to view the rules and other information.

Please be aware there is a slight change in the rules. We have added:-
“There must be no text on the background or border. Text within the image area is allowed”.

End of Year Project Challenge

Thank you for the suggestions for the 2019  Project Challenge. Ideas included "When I was Young", "Light Food", " Hockney Joiner" and "Record Album Cover". The committee have decided to run with "Record Album Cover".

The challenge is to create a  "Record Album Cover" depicting song(s)/ or music/ or musical instruments/ or dance etc etc (up to your interpretation), that has had some significance in your life. The  "Record Album Cover" is to be presented as a Print on the Monday 25th November 2019  and those who wish could also have a recording of  the music/song etc with their presentation.

We can all relate to music through our life, lets get behind this Challenge!

We had a very successful NCC 1st Competition with some really great images entered. Here are the digital images that were awarded Honours on the night.
