Buenos días from rainy San José!

The always-sunny-never-rainy city that we first came to has taken on quite a new look with the start of rainy season. Rain jackets and umbrellas are our new best friends on the walk to and from school, but we’re loving all of the flowers and green everywhere!

We wanted to give you a brief update on our plans for the next two weeks. We just moved a couple days ago into a house across town owned by a long-term missionary family heading back to New Zealand for four months. We’ll be subleasing their house while they’re gone. The new space is close to school, has more room for our growing family and visitors, and even has a little outdoor space! Despite the hassle of the move, it is a mutual blessing for both of our families and we’re grateful to be here.

We head out this weekend (Saturday) for a quick trip to Indiana for Carrie’s sister’s wedding. Unfortunately this has to be a short trip because it's hard to miss our classes here. And while we wish we could have more time to connect with each of you in-person, we’re looking forward to any hugs and hellos we do get to exchange! For those of you that attend Zionsville Fellowship, we’ll be there Sunday morning, June 2nd.

Please pray for safety during travel, a meaningful time in Indiana, and the ability to catch back up at school when we get back.
