Join us for the 2019 Central Oregon Local Championship Qualifier (formerly known as the Chapter Championship) where LPGA Amateur members of all skill levels have the opportunity to compete against other members who share the same playing ability. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or new to the game, the LPGA Amateurs Local Championship Qualifier provides a venue to experience competitive golf among friends and in the spirit of fun.  We take fun seriously!!
 
The Local Championship Qualifier includes stroke play and scramble team competition.  Any chapter member with an established handicap of 40.4 or less can participate.  Details of stroke play flights and scramble team limitations are found on the Championship Series Home Page under About - General info.  If you would like to play on a scramble team (4 players required), ask a few of your fellow chapter members to join you in forming a team!  If you need help forming a team, send me an email and I’ll connect interested players.

We will also be offering recreational golf for the same fee.  If you do not wish to compete, come out for a round of golf and cheer on the competitors.  LUNCH IS INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION FEE.

If you want to compete but do not yet have a handicap, you can still establish one in time to participate.  Your LPGA Amateurs membership includes a handicap service.  You must post the equivalent of 5 18-hole rounds before June 15^th to establish your handicap for this event.  For assistance or questions about setting up or maintaining your handicap, please contact me at halleyann@outlook.com.  I can help you through this process and answer your questions.  No handicap is needed for recreational golf.
 
The low gross and low net winners from each stroke play flight and the top two scramble teams will advance to the Pacific NW District Semi-Final tournament August 17^th at Thanksgiving Point Golf Club in Lehi, UT.  Winners of each District Semi-Final event across the United States advance to the LPGA Amateurs Championship Finals to be held October 11-12 at The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA.  You will find additional details and the 2019 Tournament Schedule on our chapter website under Events - Championship Series.  Follow this LINK.
