Get pumped, it's showcase day! Read on to get familiar with some dope moves to get you in the mood! Photo cred: Groupwerk

And just like that, we're at the finish line...

With two weeks to go (and one of them being a short week), we're painfully aware of how soon the year has flown by. Unlike the weather, we'll focus on the brighter side today.

We're sure you're already dreaming of lying on a beach reading a good book. Here's a list of five books recommended by Bill Gates himself. Now bear in mind that these are probably not going to be breezy summer reads (I mean, one of them is about the future of capitalism...), but we do think that they will burst the Kellogg bubble before you head to real life later this summer. But if that's really not your cuppa tea, here's one to bring you back to life with some humor and love.

Now, if your summer is more about finding something to download and watch on a flight, you're in luck! Between Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and HBO, there're plenty of new shows that you can binge on.

So whether you're finally going to relax after months of being busier than ever, or need nourishment for your soul as you fly to a client site, Daybreak suggests you bookmark these lists of summer reads and watchlists.

Cloudy but warm

Today's high is 63°F (17°F) but mostly cloudy. At least we won't need to constantly squint while walking to the hub...

Senior superlatives

Are you most likely to have a wing of the Glub named after you? Most likely to found the next Patagonia? Most likely to host an alumni boat day on your personal yacht? Most likely to be the next Bill Gates? Most likely to broker world peace? Most likely to be Dean someday?

We want to know - the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. Submit your superlatives (or you know, an anonymous Kellogg secret you're willing to share) here for consideration. Winners will be printed in next Friday's issue.

I don't like cricket - no, I love it!

If you hail from a former British colony then like us, you're probably chomping at the bit for the upcoming Cricket World Cup, which kicks off this week in the United Kingdom. For our American readers, the World Cup is played every four years and is the world's third most watched sporting event, with viewers for the India v Pakistan grudge match alone expected to top one billion - far surpassing American Super Bowl

For those unfamiliar with the sport, it's basically a more action-packed, sophisticated, and worldly version of baseball. Over the next two months the ten best nations in the world - with entrants ranging from Afghanistan to South Africa to the West Indies - will battle it out for the right to be crowned true World Champions

So who are we picking? England and India are the bookies' favorites, with the former expected to go well on some locally curated pitches. India, however, looked shaky in a crushing loss against minnows New Zealand in a warm up game last week, and their Bollywood WAG groupies in the stands appear to be becoming a distraction for Virat Kohli. On that note, rumor has it that Kellogg's own Kush Verma was an Indian age grade superstar back in his heyday, and was in fact close to a World Cup call up after hitting some fantastic form in the 1Y cricket match at E2 recently.

Australia will, no doubt, be there at the business end of the tournament as usual, although they're expected to crumble under the pressure of the cheating scandal that has rocked the nation from head to toe over the last 12 months. Given this, we expect everyone's favorite team New Zealand to go one better than four years ago, and fill Kiwi hearts with joy by bringing home the bacon on the biggest stage of them all for the first time.

Bust a move!

It's SHOWTIME, folks! Groupwerk is back with over 25 dances, including all your favorites from TG to Ski Trip! Head over to Ryan Auditorium with your KWESTie besties at 8:30 p.m. tonight to grab a drink and practice your own moves to dance along! What moves, you ask? Don't worry, Daybreak has your back!

The Floss: Having spent any time at Kellogg, you have got to know what we're talking about. It looks simple but takes some coordination, kind of like trying to tap your head and rub your stomach at the same time. Place your arms on either side of your midriff and move them side to side in tune with your waist, without moving your feet. Do it right, and you can find yourself being re-posted by none other than Rihanna!

The Shoot: We're sure you've at least heard of this one. Now footballers are doing it when they celebrate, so you really have no excuse. After all, it was brought to us by none other than Drake! Hop on one foot while moving the opposite leg and arm front-back-front. Pro tip - get your group in line for this.

In My Feelings: This one was inspired by Drake's chart-topping song of the same name (remember Kiki, Do You Love Me!) and took Instagram by storm. I mean, even Will Smith took a shot at it (we question how well he did it, but oh well.) Don't injure yourself getting out the car, and make sure you get the heart and steering wheel down!

The TWERK: The evergreen move, and the hardest one! If you get this down, we promise, you will be the envy of all your friends. Get into a squat and pop that booty. It's all about the arch! Channel your inner Cardi B and get low!

There you have it! Come on over tonight and WERK WERK WERK!
