Welcome PHX Training, Our New Corporate Affiliate Partners

The IEP are delighted to announce that PHX Training have joined us as our latest Corporate Affiliate Partners.

PHX Training is an award-winning North West training provider, founded in 2004 to help individuals and businesses to build skills and create successful futures. They deliver government-backed training initiatives including direct delivery of the ESFA Adult Education Budget (AEB).

Shirley Williams, Development Director said “The reason why I wanted to join IEP as a Corporate Affiliate Partner on behalf of PHX Training is that the IEP and their Members are passionate about supporting people with multiple barriers into work.  As key partners our role is to embrace those challenges, help come up with new joined up approaches and to support people into sustainable jobs.

“Raising the PHX Brand nationally is very important to me and being part of a prestigious group will start to raise our visibility.  Being part of IEP is a great way for me to be inspired by fresh ideas and ready to tackle business challenges in creative and innovative ways.”

The Good Employability Company Selected for VRA Award

Congratulations to our Corporate Affiliate Partners, The Good Employability Company, who have been selected as a finalist in the 2019 Vocational Rehabilitation Association Innovation, Research and Education Award.

Their Perspective Project, funded by the EU ERASMUS+ grant, carried out a controlled test of training for advisors of migrants and refugees. These people are among the most disadvantaged in society, facing psychological and physical illness as well as social and legislative hostility. Working with France, Germany and Greece the project showed how skilled advisors improve their support, and how they encourage increased employability among their clients.
