This tiny speck on the map, named Israel, has impacted my life in ways I was not planning, like starting this business, A Taste Of Israel. 

But you know, love...when you fall in love, things change. 

With A Taste Of Israel, I host small groups on Food & Wine Tours to Israel, speak to groups, offer cooking demonstrations and host events and Israeli speakers.

Last week, I hosted Rabbi Pesach Wolicki from Jerusalem with CJCUC, Center for Jewish and Christian Understanding and Cooperation, who led a bible study on The Good & Evil of Wine.
 

With wine mentioned in the bible countless times in both negative and positive contexts plus this being such a controversial topic in Christianity but not in Judaism, I wanted to understand what is the truth about wine. Is it good or evil? 

Turns out others wanted to know too.  So we gathered in Austin to hear the Rabbi. 

It was fascinating and so helpful to walk away with a better understanding of the role of wine in a biblical lifestyle.

In the link above, The Wines of Israel, I share about meeting lifelong friends, Judy & Thomas from Australia, in Israel. With a heavy heart I share with you that I received news yesterday that Thomas has been diagnosed with cancer. My friends need our prayers. Thank you for any prayers you can send to our most compassionate Father, the One who Sees, the One who Heals. May Thomas receive a full recovery, strength and comfort.
