12 of the best contemporary Czech comics artists will be presented this month in Muntpunt library during a fun evening with live animation. On a more serious note, we will talk about climate during our regular Science Café. And the grand season’s finale – Czech Street Party – brings crowd-pleasers as well as shooting stars of Czech music scene. June, here we come!
What do the famous Flemish comics author Charel Cambré and Czech comics have in common? Well, they stand together next to each other in the latest issue of Stripgids, according to many "the most beautiful magazine in the low countries". This summer issue focuses on the fascinating (but largely unknown in Belgium) comics scene of the Czech Republic.
During the launch of this fifth issue of Stripgids: a chat by the famous Czech comics strip specialist Pavel Kořínek, a panel discussion with Charel Cambré, live drawing, never seen before animated films and a glass of wine.
