If you're looking for something from a previous email newsletter, almost everything that's shared in the newsletters is available on our website. Plus, we have a very active closed Facebook Group, check it out.

Our Scholastic Online Book Fair is OPEN! + Join Us Tomorrow Eve for BooksB4Bed

The book fair is a great time to find exciting stories for the longer evenings. The Scholastic Book Fair not only provides great books it also funds the Hayhurst Library for all students. Join us this week 7:40-8:10 AM & 2:15-3:10 PM.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) eve, join us for Books Before Bed between 6:30-7:30 PM. There will be cookies, story time and shopping at the book fair!

There are still volunteer slots open. To sign up, find the sign-up sheet on the counter in the office or click here and sign up online.

And remember, Our online book fair is also open! Orders will be shipped free to Hayhurst when the fair closes and all purchases benefit the Hayhurst Library. Your student’s wish list can be shared with out of town relatives too!

Come to the book fair and discover new book topics, adventures stories, and get excited about reading this year. Thank you for supporting the Hayhurst Library!

Camp Fire’s Fall 2019-20 Registration Opens THIS EVE May 21st
Camp Fire’s fall 2019-20 pre-registration, where families can input all their information ahead of time, has opened on May 1st (*All families registering for 19-20 school year must complete this step).

PPS families will be able to officially register May 21st starting at 8:00 PM. To register, please go to www.CampFireColumbia.org.

There are three changes this year:
  1. A new two-step process for registration 
  2. Split up program enrollment opening dates by district 
  3. Program enrollment opening times changed to 8 PM (with staff members in the office from 8-10 PM to answer calls)

We are seeking a person to fill the PTA Secretary role next year. The secretary's main duties are recording and filing meeting minutes and maintaining membership rosters (see more here). If interested, please contact Kirsten Carr.
