On-Demand Embroidery

Melco embroidery systems The EMT16 PLUS is a modular embroidery system. It can work as BOTH a single-head machine, or a multi-head production network, SIMULTANEOUSLY. This means that you get the benefits of both in the same system, at the same time. This is made possible by the Melco Operating System (MOS), enabling individual embroidery machines to be connected to a network. You control each machine individually from the same computer, using the MOS dashboard. Configure each head to produce the same design, or different designs, at the same time. This high-speed system is also scalable to grow with your business.

SWF embroidery machines SWF has launched the only dual-function machine on the market. Able to work independently or together, it runs hats and flats at the same time. This is a great option for the growing on-demand space our decorators are faced with.

B-Flex America - B-Flex manufactures heat transfer vinyl and has a couple new products that are worth checking out.

Gimme5 Presses at 285° for four seconds. This product boasts being wash tested up to 100 times without failure.
Glitter Stretch follows along the same lines as traditional glitter by having a glitter hand, but it also has an amazing stretchability.

One Stroke Inks Launches ELT-S
So many screen printers struggle with decorating delicate fabrics. One Stroke Inks manufactures a low temperature solution which is soft, stretchy and easy to use. With a 250º cure temperature, ELT-S prevents common problems such as dye migration, ghosting, scorching, shrinking, fabric discoloration (pictured) and even melting. Its quick flash cure time will prevent quartz units from leaving bands of discoloration on apparel such as tri-blends and fluorescent tees. ELT-S is for all fabrics, allowing you to use one ink for all screen printing.

New Decoration Technology

George Knight Sticking with the ever-growing subject of heat transfers, Geo Knight has added a cap machine with an under-heating element to their line. The Geo Knight bottom heated platens are available on all current digital swing-away and clamshell presses. Bottom heat is ideal for removing any heat-scorching or heat-stamping effects when applying transfers. It is also perfect for applying thick embroidered appliques and other molded heat transfers that are so popular today.

Insta Graphic Systems – The Insta 780 Shuttle Press, Coming Soon
Reduces Labor costs and increases productivity up to 70%. This machine is very versatile and has quick-change platens, advanced touch screen display and a choice of manual, semi-automatic and full-automatic modes. Watch the video.

Kornit The new Avalanche Poly Pro is the first machine to specialize in polyester DTG printing. There new NeoPoly technology and NeoPigment inks are stated to stop dye-migration and to work on white and colored polyester. Kornit has a few Road Shows going on if you’re interested in seeing the new technology.
