#1 - Check that your keypad is functioning correctly

If your gate won't open or close correctly, the first thing to check is that your keypad is functioning as it should.  Its really easy to confirm & only 2 steps are required:
  1. Enter any pin-code that normally opens the gate, and check to make sure that you see the regular "Access Granted" message on screen.
  2. Your keypad makes an audible "clicking" noise after a pin-code is accepted, listen and confirm you can hear this clicking noise after your code is accepted
If either of the above points are a problem and your gate is not opening,  contact us support@storagesecurity.com.au so that we can have a technician inspect it for you

#2 - Clean the safety sensors on your gate

Your gate should always have a safety sensor ( this is what stops the gate from continuing to close when someone is driving / walking through it ).  It can be easy for dust & dirt to build up on this sensor.
If you've confirmed your keypad is working correctly (as per tip #1) , give your gate sensors a quick wipe down and see if the gate operation returns to normal

If all else fails ....  if you've tried both of the above tips and your gate still wont' move (or is moving around on its own) then its time to touch base with your gate technician. If you dont' have contact with anyone we can put you in touch with one in your area just let us know on support@storagesecurity.com.au
