I hope this email finds you well!
I’m sending this email in the middle of a very exciting week for OM in Argentina.
Vanesa and I just returned from the Enviame a mi conference in Bahia Blanca, a pre-field training for anyone interested in going overseas with OM. There were 18 people there either already committed to going to serve on the Ship or to another country; and many others who are praying about it.
It was exciting to have this training in the city of the first Ship’s visit this year, to see just some of the fruit of the Ship’s ministry in March.
This week, Vanesa and I will head to Rosario to greet the Ship upon its return to Argentina on May 31. This will start what I call a ‘3 month marathon’, as the Ship will then travel to Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata.
There are a lot of details and logistics to take care of—and an even greater potential for ministry and local outreach.
It will be the result of many hours of work for so many and (even more importantly) so much prayer.
We cannot wait to see what God will do! In June, we will also purchase the team house in Villa Dominico, just in time to have 2 Ship’s teams come help prepare it – and then a team of Paraguayans to come in July and stay there while volunteering on board the Ship.
God has perfect timing! So, there’s a lot going on! I am thankful to serve a God who will not miss even a tiny detail, and whose impact reaches far beyond human efforts.
I’m going to close this email with ways you can pray.
Thank you for being people who join with us in prayer!
- For the Ship’s visit to Rosario. Please pray for logistics to go smoothly.
- Pray for many visitors to hear the Gospel and come to know Jesus.
- Pray Christians and churches will be excited about missions because the Ship’s visit and want to be involved more.
- Pray for all the special events, especially the “Alta tu voz” event on June 8, which is going to be a prayer night for the least reached.
- For upcoming visits to Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata.
- Pray for the lineup teams and for all the details to come together.
- Pray God will prepare the hearts of all volunteers and visitors.
- For the purchase of the Mobilization Center.
- Pray the details involved in purchasing this house will go well, as well as the cleaning and minor repairs the Ship’s teams will do, and that everything will be ready for the first team to stay there starting June 25.
