Here you will find online safety news, events and resources we have produced in partnership with Welsh Government for the Online Safety Zone on Hwb.

A roadmap of the online safety programme for Wales 2019-20

A new roadmap is now available detailing all of the new online safety resources being developed for publication during the forthcoming year. As usual there will be playlists and teacher's guides on a range of online safety topics as well as some new types of resources such as family videos and family guides. In addition, there are Safer Internet Day activities highlighted and two specialist resources - six online safety lesson plans for learners with ALN and Online safety in early years - A toolkit for Wales.

360 safe Cymru - progress emails

From this month schools registered for the 360 safe Cymru self-review tool will receive automated progress email with information about their current position and a reminder of their next improvement steps. These emails will be sent to schools in May, October and January every year.

Save the date - Safer Internet Day 2020 will be on 11 February

Safer Internet Day 2020 will take place on 11 February under the slogan Together for a better internet. Look out for more information and updates on the dedicated Safer Internet Day page of the Online Safety Zone on Hwb.
