Learning Museum Tomorrow 2:30-4:30pm

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our first ever Learning Museum tomorrow. This is a hands-on, minds-on experience for learners of all ages. Please come prepared to:

make models
build ideas with students
ask questions
share your story

There is so much to see and do! With nine different exhibits to visit throughout the school it’s sure to be a fun-filled afternoon.

Please note that the Band Concert is this coming Tues. May 28th, 2019 7:00pm at Centennial Theatre. Tickets can be bought for the concert directly through the theatre.

Please make sure you return the pink permission form (BY TOMORROW!) for your child to walk down to Centennial Theatre for rehersal that day.

Bike to School Week

Next week is "Bike to School Week”! Kids and their families are encouraged to bike/scooter to school. Students can lock up their bikes in the rack out front of the school. Fire Department will come on Friday to recognize all the students that arrived to school on two wheels.

There are now 12 golf spots left and with the course closer than in the past, we would love to sell the event out. We have changed it up a bit to reach a higher level of participation by moving the venue closer to Gleneagles Golf Course in West Vancouver followed by a BBQ dinner catered by Smoke and Bones (yum). Dinner-only guests are welcome at $60 per person (dinner only) and with the venue close by we are looking to have more school families come enjoy a great BBQ. Calling all kids who love comics!

Comics class will be running on Thursdays 3:30-5:00pm from May 30 - June 14 (in the atrium) and June 21 will be our sale date. Each class we’ll be learning about story development, techniques used for sketching, inking and final artwork. Drawing skill is not necessary - just a love of stories! The kids will make mini comics that will be sold on the final date. All proceeds go back to HTS.

Choir

To celebrate a great year of choir, there will be an ice cream party on Friday, May 31 at 12:30 in the atrium for members of the school and mass choirs. A special thanks to the parents for your support getting students to practice early on Friday mornings. Looking forward to seeing the students again next year!

"Save-The-Date" for the School/Parish Spring Festival, it will be held on Saturday June 15th at 6pm.

This year our “Spring Event” is combined with our parish feast day. The raffle draw will also take place. Details to follow in the next few weeks as it comes together.
