National Day of Mourning
is Next Week Tuesday!


At least 27 Nigerians were abducted on Sunday, May 19th.
18 farmers were also killed by bandits on Tuesday, May 21st in Batsari local government, Katsina State.
At least 7 people were killed on Monday, May 20th by suspected cultists in Khana local government, Rivers State.
At least 3 soldiers were killed on Monday, May 20th in an attack by Boko Haram in Gubio, Borno State.

In honour of the over 1,000 Nigerians who have died across the country in the 1st quarter of 2019, join us next week Tuesday, May 28th  to remember those we have lost!

The Meter Asset Provider (MAP) scheme has kicked off!

You can now go to your various DISCOs to pay for your meter. Meters would be installed 10 working days after payment.

Supreme Court Affirms Fayemi
as Ekiti State Governor


The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal filed by the PDP governorship candidate in Ekiti State in the July 2018 governorship election, Olusola Eleka.

Mr. Kayode Fayemi was affirmed as the duly elected governor of Ekiti State.

APC Loses Zamfara as Supreme Court
Nulls All Party's Votes


Today, May 24th, the Supreme Court nullified the elections of all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State in the 2019 general elections. The Court ruled that the party did not conduct primary elections

The first runners-up in the 2019 general elections in the state are declared winners of all the positions earlier won by the APC candidates.

Yesterday, May 23rd marked 1,865 days of the remaining 112 #ChibokGirls in captivity. Leah Sharibu and Alice Ngaddah are also in captivity.
