JOHN BAKKER
Returning to lead our After School Matters teen class is artist John Bakker. John is a Chicago based artist whose work has been represented by two of Chicago's most significant Chicago galleries and included in private, corporate, and public collections. His work has been exhibited in the Midwest and across the country. This year, he is working on an art installation in Roseland Chicago. Currently, he is a professor of art at Trinity Christian College.

In addition to our work in the studio classroom and through artist residencies in local schools, Art on Sedgwick manages the programming for the Marshall Field Gardens Community Center. Each week we lead and collaborate on programs with residents and partners to create community and opportunities with residents of the building. Check out these images from recent events!
