We are excited to invite you to this year’s summer party, for the first time hosted at the charming and magnificent summer mansion Villa Lilleborg. We can guarantee you a fun, vibrant and INSEAD-spirited evening where you will meet old friends and make new connections. The theme of the party is maritime summer, so feel free to wear anything that gets you in a maritime summer mood. 



When you arrive, we will meet for bubbles in the garden overlooking the spectacular Oslo fjord, before we go inside to enjoy a delicious summer tapas buffet with great French wine. There will be an all-night open bar, the music will be fabulous, the guests even more so, and we hope you will join us for the highlight of the year.

We are excited to share that the evening's keynote speaker will be Rolv Erik Ryssdal, Adevinta CEO and MBA'91J, sharing the fascinating story of a global Norwegian tech success. More information below!

Keynote speaker: Rolv Erik Ryssdal, sharing the story of "Adevinta - From Norwegian newspapers to global tech unicorn"



Rolv Erik Ryssdal is the CEO of Adevinta, the Schibsted Media Group spin-off whose recent IPO was the largest in Norway for 19 years, and the 3rd largest ever. The story of Adevinta started more than 20 years ago, when Schibsted made the brave decision of establishing a new business unit that would cannibalize one of its most important revenue streams. What started with the service Norwegians know as Finn.no today, has since then developed into a global tech success with leading positions in France, Brazil, Spain among other countries, and a company value representing six "unicorns". Having been at Schibsted during this entire period, and the last nine years as Group CEO, there is nobody better to share this fascinating story than Rolv Erik Ryssdal. 

Ryssdal took charge of Adevinta after being CEO of Schibsted from 2009-2018, having been at the company since 1991 and also been CEO of Schibsted subsidiaries VG and Aftonbladet. He holds and MSc from Handelshøyskolen BI and an MBA from INSEAD.
