Huttcross #2 - This Sunday 9 June

This week it is back to Moonshine but with a complete do over on the course thanks Upper Hutt's number 1 Huttcross fan.

Your Huttcross correspondent has a major deadline this week and things are pretty hectic. No it is not updating my submission to the UCI on the recent sock length rules changes. Rest assured that is high on the priority list and will be next weeks job!

So this week you get the basics. Who, What, Where, When and How.

Who: You obviously, and anyone else you know that is keen to ride around a muddy bit of the Valley this Sunday!

What: Huttcross round 2

A new 2.3km course which departs from adjacent to the toilet block and gallops southwards alongside the mighty Hutt River before chucking a uey to lap in (again and again and again). Expect maximum utilisation of natural undulations, a couple of trips up/down the stop bank, and some brand new pieces of track unearthed from the coverage of blackberries to provide superb lines. The horrible slog on grass, grass and more grass is out. Maximum radness is in!!!

Mainly a flat course but the cornering will keep the A Grade peloton splintered and the C Grade whanau very happy. Our Mighty CX kids are also gonna love the adventure this course takes them on around the park

ENTER RACE 2 - 2019

Where: Moonshine Park - Upper Hutt

Please park to the North of the toilet blocks. It should be obvious where the race is by the time you get there. Please park considerately.

When: Sunday 9th June. Rego opens at 9am. First race C grade at 10am

9:30am Course practice (30 min)
10:00am C Grade (30 min)
10:40am Mighty Cross (20 min)
11:00am Mini Cross (10 min)
11:30am B Grade (45 min)
12:15pm Course practice (15 min)
12:30pm A Grade (60 min) – CX bikes only
