The Day of Pentecost

The Coming of the Holy Spirit

God’s Old Testament people celebrated the gathering of the harvest at the Festival of Weeks. On the fiftieth day of this festival (called Pentecost), God sent the promised Counselor & Advocate, God the Holy Spirit, to his disciples to declare the wonders of God to others in their respective languages. We testify about Jesus Christ with the same Holy Spirit still today.

Here is God's Word regarding the work of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost:
Genesis 11:1-9
Acts 2:1-21
John 15:26-27

"I rejoiced with those who said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the LORD.'" (Psalm 122:1) God-willing, I will get to worship with you this coming Sunday or Monday.

Garden Group
The garden group meets this coming Saturday, June 8, at 9:00 am at church.

Happy birthday for everyone born in June! This coming Sunday after church we will celebrate all June birthdays with a cake.
Bible Information Class
Our Bible Information Class continues Sunday, June 9 at 1:00 pm. This class is for those seeking to know what the Bible teaches and those looking to be refreshed by God's Word. Babysitting is provided.

Bible Study: 
Revelation to Genesis


The Genesis Bible study has begun. This book of the Bible is foundational to much of our Christian faith.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend the adult Bible study on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am. 

You can download and share the Genesis study guide or pick up a paper copy at church.

Paper copies of past Bible study guides for Habakkuk and Revelation are also available at church.
