Sculpture Unveiling – 6:00-7:00
Volunteers at the Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens have been working for over a year to install a one-of-a-kind sculpture in the gardens at the Arboretum. The sculpture, also known as a cairn, weighs 4 tons and has 308 individually cut & uniquely shaped stones. The piece stands over 5 ft. tall and has a 49-inch diameter.

The public is invited to a special unveiling of the sculpture on Thursday, June 13th at 6:00 PM at the Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens. Greg will complete work on the sculpture and celebrate the move of the cairn from his home to the Arboretum by placing the final stone on the top of the cairn during the unveiling. Light refreshments will be provided after and attendees will have a chance to speak with Greg about his amazing art piece.
